Leaving for Grad trip soon

Will be flying in 8 hrs time. Looking forward, very excited yet a little bit disappointed. Why? Cause the weather forecast says raining for the next few days. Hopefully it is not as bad when we get there.

Had a very simple yet wonderful birthday with my dearest last Friday. She bought a cake to meet me and we cut it at the Sky garden at Suntec. Then we walked around the area, went pray for the trip at Si Ma Lu Guan Yin Miao. Then we went over to Bugis Junction sat down and chat while waiting for our friends to come. Then had dinner together, rush to send her home, to catch the last 15mins of the 9pm show ("mars vs venus"). Very simple celebration right? but i was happy and contented.

Saturday was my actual birthday. Spent the day packing up for the trip and the dinner with family at a chinese restaurant in Westmall. Food was nice, prices affordable, comparable to crystal jade. Then went BPP to walk walk. Midnight shopping event was held there with discounts, free gifts to exchange. Of cos, a lot of people.

I feel it's very true. Dwelling on the past (relationship) often blinds you. I am glad that i didn't and have found my present her.
