I took the offer

I was very lucky. Lucky to get the job offer on my very first interview. And after much consideration and a little asking around for views from friends and family, i accept the offer. It bascially a research type of job. Honestly, i am not into research. Imagine sitting inside the lab doing experiments, analyse results, don't really like to be confined in the lab. But this company does give me a chance to fly overseas for short term attachments which is a good point. Another thing is the interest. They are recruiting ppl for research in aerospace related areas, my interest. With a relatively good pay and working on something of my interest, i decided to give it a try even though it's a research job. I tell myself, no harm trying. No bond, no contract; if i am not used to this kind of job i can just look for another one. Since its a research type of job, they are looking for 2nd upper and above. I seriously doubt i can get my 2nd upper as i mentioned in my previous post, but the HR guy assured me that it's ok if i get a lower honours. Anyway working there can be stressed.haha. Working with those scholars, 1st class, with PhDs, ya..can imagine right? all the brainy people..haha. Nevertheless, i have decided to just give it a shot.

Honestly i don't think i performed in the interview by 3 persons. I got it most likely because i showed them my interest in aero-related stuff. Of course with a little tip from my friend who went for the interview earlier, he told me that they looking for people who are interested in aero. So i went in with a mindset to show them i am interested. At first i was told towards the end to wait for call if i am shortlisted. Then soemhow, don't know why, the interview continued, shooting me with questions. Then end up, they told me i was offered with the job. I was stunned abit at that moment. 'Thought you asked me to wait for call???' that is what came to my mind at that time. haha..

To side track abit, one of my friend's dad was hospitalised, in ICU, awaiting for some major heart operations. Risk is damn high. Hopefully her dad and herself will pull through these difficult times. Lets all pray for her dad.
