B-A-C-K

Back from aussie last night. Not a bad trip overall, see what i have been wanted to see, the 12 apostles, the helicopter ride for the 1st time, watching wild Little Penguins returning to shore gathering in groups, dashing across the beach to their burrows. Cute factor very high oh!! Wild rabbits hopping around and wild kangaroos just few meters from our walking path, feeding wallabies and kangaroos in a farmhouse. Also, my 1st time driving through thick fog with visibility only 10s of meters. A lot of rainbows with the sun on one side and rainy on the other side of the sky. Huge waves along coast, thundering sound from blowholes as waves splashed.

It had been a wet weather for the 1st few days of our trip, with very cold wind blowing along the coast. Seriously it was really damn cold! Heard of people walking nature reserves with umbrella? Haha, we did! Luckily the rain wasn't heavy when we were trekking. The last days were sunny, weather was just fine, not too cold. But then we were in city area by that time. Took trams, buses, trains to and around Melbourne city. We found that there was actually nothing much in Melbourne that we were interested in and so we booked a day trip (not within plan) to the famous Philips Island for penguin tour. Initially only planned for Great Ocean Road and now with Philips Island, we covered 2 most famous sites. A worthy trip!!

Photos not ready yet; will post some here when done. I miss the weather there. SG is so hot!!
