1st car accident
Yes, last late night, i met with an accident. A taxi hit my car when i was stopping at the stop line to give way at the junction. The back of the car was dented, bumper was abit damaged, signal lights spoilt, car boot damaged too. I am alright in case u all thinking, no injury. But it was really a miracle that his taxi was unharm, not even visible scratches. Think all the impact was on my car; i released brake and was ready to go when i felt a bump!
Luckily the driver was kind enough to realise his mistake and kept apologising, assisting me in investigation. He gave me his contact number, i called his number on the spot in case he gave me a fake one. My boot was unable to close and i need to drive home, the uncle gave me those hook the secure my boot cover. Of course the 1st thing i do after getting down from the car was to call my dad. It's my 1st thing handling this kind of thing, managed to calm myself down n follow the procedure.
Dad inspected the extent of damage on his car after i drove back. Though the car was still movable, with no signal lights, his driving lessons are affected. Furthermore, the boot can't be close, water will seep into the boot if it rains. He has no choice but to send to workshop for repair and got a replacement car to continue teaching. But he has got students taking final driving test this week, without the car they used to drive, the passing of the test can be compromised. But no choice. Hopefully the students can make it. Kinda feel bad, even though it's not my fault.
Now i hope the claiming of insurance from the taxi's company can be smooth.
